Senri no Kifu: Gendai Shougi Mystery is a mystery and shogi battle game, the story is based on numerous incidents concerning AI vs human shogi games. The scenario is written by Hidehisa Miyashita who created the story "Folklore". The music is composed by Noriyuki Iwadare, a popular game composer of the games "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace AttorneySpirit of Justice". And the supervision of Michio Takahashi a professional shogi player who also has an in-game appearance.
