Radirgy 2 is the evolved sequel to the cult-favorite vertical scrolling shoot ’em up Radirgy, which first appeared in arcades in 2005 with the catchphrase “Toon Pop Radio Wave Shoot ’em Up.”

Now, 18 years later, the series returns—refined, reimagined, and recharged for modern consoles. Players pilot the aircraft “Murasame”, which evolves as enemies and items are acquired, enabling powerful new attacks such as lasers and rotating slashes.

The game also includes the nostalgic original ship “Kajiro”, which utilizes classic shot-and-bomb gameplay for a retro feel that will satisfy veteran shmup fans. Across five intense stages, players must master both ship types to clear the game and enjoy the full “radio wave shooting” experience.
