Kawano Hatsuyuki is a third-year student — one of the few delinquents at Shirosaki Gakuen. Though he has little enthusiasm for school life, he continues to attend classes just enough to meet his graduation requirements.

As December arrives and the first snow of the year falls, Hatsuyuki encounters a mysterious girl dressed all in white, wandering the snowy streets in search of her missing rabbit. A few days later, that same girl — Sakura — transfers into his school. Her arrival sets in motion a quiet, fleeting story that leads Hatsuyuki toward his final winter.

Through the changing of the four seasons — from snow to cherry blossoms — the tale gently follows the passage of 1,095 days of youth, love, and farewell. When winter ends and spring begins, the memories of snow that never settled will remain.
