Step into the ordinary life of Morinaga Satsuki, a second-year high school girl with no notable traits—until one fateful summer day changes everything. What seemed like an unassuming trinket turns her world upside down when she puts it on and accidentally summons Ruen Egrandin, a self-proclaimed demon sealed within the ring.

Ruen, imposing yet mysterious, forces Satsuki to help him search for a second enchanted ring known as "Heliotrope"—a cursed artifact of immense destructive power. Though Satsuki accepts his request with hesitation, she is promised a reward: a "wish that wasn’t particularly a wish."

However, Ruen’s warning lingers:
"If you put on the Heliotrope ring, no matter how much you fight it, insanity will take over."

What begins as a reluctant partnership turns into a fantastical journey as Satsuki and Ruen navigate the thin line between reality and dreams.
